Camp is really important for our kids to dedicate time in their summer to growing closer to Jesus through worship, Bible lessons, devotionals, prayer time, and fellowship with one another. We also do fun activities like swimming, games, crafts, and more!
The heart behind camp is to give our kids a time/space dedicated to learning about Jesus and opening their hearts to Him. It’s a valuable time of fellowship among friends as well as discovering Jesus’ love and who they are in Him.
Our students of Community Church attended Summit Camp last year, and it comes highly recommended by our staff and campers who attended. A bonus is that some of our worship team members from Community Church will be traveling to camp with us to lead worship for the entire camp. Summit Camp is a relatively smaller camp compared to other camps (about 250 people including sponsors). There are several large, multi-room cabins, and Community Church kiddos will all be staying in one cabin together (girls/boys will have separate rooms). We will be taking a bus from Community Church to Summit the morning of May 28th, and it will bring us back on the 31st.
