Capital Baptist Association We support the collective efforts of the ministries associated with the Capital Baptist Association with prayer and regular financial gifts. These ministries include: Associational supports for over 150 central Oklahoma City churches, the Grace Rescue Mission, the Baptist Mission Center, and the chaplains of the Oklahoma City Police Department. Children’s Festival The Children’s Festival is a once a year off sight ministry of our church. This free festival includes Bible Story tents, Christian music, horse rides, inflatable games, hot food, prizes and much more. The goal is to share the love of Jesus with children and their parents and to link arms with local businesses and churches and make opportunity to unite the greater body of Christ for the Kingdom’s sake. Crossroads Clinic A local ministry offering guidance and support with sexual health and crisis pregnancy. We support this local ministry with regular financial gifts and with volunteer workers. First Stone Ministries A regional ministry with the primary purpose of leading the sexually and relationally broken into a liberating relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Discipleship and restoration in every area of one's life is stressed; however, there is detailed emphasis on overcoming all forms of sexual brokenness including homosexuality, sexual abuse and addiction to pornography. Guthrie Christmas Angel Project A ministry of our church to families in need at Christmas. We contact the local DHS workers assigned to the elementary schools and they supply us with a qualified list of families who otherwise would not have much at Christmas. We take these names, put them on an angel ornament and hang them on a Christmas tree in our lobby. Volunteers take an angel, shop, purchase and wrap the gifts specific to their family. Guthrie Ministerial Alliance We support the Guthrie Ministerial Alliance with regular financial gifts, monthly pastoral participation, and helping with annual community events. For more information contact: Bill Williams at (405) 388-8723.
General Daniels Thanksgiving Meal This is a collective of the local community that gathers once a year at the American Legion to serve a Thanksgiving Meal to the homeless and needy in this region. Guthrie Football Feed Once a year, during fall break, we host a breakfast for the High School football coaches, players and support staff. When possible we have had representatives from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) speak. For more information contact: Tracy Smith at (405) 203-7941.
Hands of Jesus A local ministry who helps families in need with food and clothing. We support this local food ministry with prayer, and hope to begin helping financially and with volunteer workers. This food bank and clothing ministry is located at 2403 W Noble Ave, Guthrie • (405) 260-3440
Love Link (Indian Mission) A ministry in downtown OKC serving the poor and homeless. One Sunday a month volunteers from our church prepare a hot meal in our kitchen, drive it down to the Indian Nazarene Mission, serve it and then host an evening service. We support this ministry with prayer, financially by providing the food, and through our volunteers. This ministry is located at 500 South Western, Oklahoma City, OK 73101. Lunch On Noble A local ministry serving a hot meal and a sack dinner Monday through Friday to anyone in need.
