Ministry To The Nations

Africa

God is bringing transformation to Africa in new ways. We are blessed to be part of one of the new efforts led by fellow member Calvin Burgess. Calvin is the CEO of Dominion Farms operating in Western Kenya. The company is dedicated to advancing the capacity of Kenyans to build better lives through modern technology, productive labor, personal integrity and faith. To realize this vision, Dominion is building a training facility to better serve the needs of the Kenyan people by offering many forms of learning opportunities. From day sessions, such as banking and finance to physical health and wellness, the center will provide a place for employees and nearby community members to enhance their personal lives. The training center will also be home to a residential youth experience to bring in the future leaders of Kenya for intensive hands-on training, using the farm as a tool to teach the youth proper vocational techniques. During their stay at Dominion Farms, the youth will not only be introduced to their personal potential in an area of expertise, but they will be cultivated through a myriad of sessions aimed to lift their spirits and guide them towards a productive future.  We continue to support this effort with prayer and the sending of ministry tools like Bibles.

China

We support a family from Oklahoma that has lived in China for the past 9 years. Their language skills and knowledge of the culture has increased there effectiveness over the years.  Also the daughter of one of our members is serving in China.Because of the prohibition against Christ centered work in China, we are withholding the names of those serving there. If you are interested in knowing how you can pray specifically for their efforts, please contact Steve or Margo Hampton at (405) 760-0874 or (405) 919-0151.

Mexico

Currently, we are active in supporting Tim and Kathy Couch, a missionary team with Back-2-Back ministries Mexico. Back2Back Ministries communicates a lifestyle of service by sharing the love of Christ and serving God through their service to others. They connect willing workers to open hearts through their international and local ministry opportunities. They serve internationallyby caring and providing for orphan children and needy people in Monterrey, Mexico, Jos, Nigeria, and Hyderabad, India.

Tim and Kathy Couch joined the Back2Back team in August of 2006. They are from Edmond, Oklahoma. They have two grown daughters. When their youngest graduated from high school, God directed them away from their empty nest to parent Mexican youth. They currently are house parents to young men. They are realizing that male and females are vastly different and are enjoying the process of parenting young men. For more information go to www.back2backministries.org.
