Our Women’s Ministry

Our Women's Ministry exists for reaching, teaching and nurturing the women of our church and community so that each woman will come to faith, Christian maturity, and service through interaction with God, His Word, and one another.

There is a wonderful verse in Romans 1:12 that illustrates this ministry’s desire: "That is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine." Bible studies, programs, and events are planned with a woman’s needs in mind.

The vision of our Women’s Ministry at Community is about:

▪ Encouraging and training women to become prayer warriors in all aspects of their lives.

▪ Encouraging women to follow biblical principles regarding their homes and families.

▪ Encouraging women to enrich their lives through knowledge and application of scripture.

▪ Encouraging the women of Community Church to form a network of support and encouragement for one another.

▪ Encouraging women to reach out to women in our community and everywhere with the good news of salvation and freedom in Christ.

The Women's Ministry offers Small Groups and Bible Studies throughout the year.  There are special ministry opportunities that include groups like Scrapbooking and Gifting 101. There are three special events each year: Women’s Retreat, the Women of Faith conference and the Bless Your Heart banquet at the Dominion House in Guthrie, OK.
