THE GREATEST SHOW + CHILI COOK-OFF & SILENT AUCTION

FUNdraiser FOR KIDS' & STUDENTS CAMP | Friday, February 3, 2023 | 6 - 8pm

Join us for homemade chili (twenty different kinds!) and a talent show, all presented to you by kids' + students' ministries. Each attender can vote for their three favorite chilis to win the cook-off! Chilis are donated by church members.  We'll also have a silent auction in the lobby with items available for purchase. Talent show is from 7-8pm. Silent auction bidding closes at 7:30pm. Serving chili, cornbread, & desserts. Hot dogs will be available for kids. Tickets are $10 per adult and $5 per kid (ages 3-13 years). A four-person family ticket can also be purchased for $25. Kids under 3 eat free.  Tickets must be pre-purchased from a student, kid, online, or at the lobby table Sunday, January 15. All funds will go towards kids' and students' summer camp & activities scholarships. Tickets available ONLINE HERE.

Are you ready for God to take you to the next level in your faith? TO THE MAX is a day packed with worship, breakout sessions and powerful conversations to equip you as a disciple of Christ. These sessions are designed to help you grow in knowing who Jesus is, what He wants to do in your life, and how you can shine His light wherever you go. This year, we are excited that the student ministries from Community Church & Lakeview Baptist are teaming up for this one-day event! 

Lunch, snacks and a t-shirt are provided.

GENERATION "WHY?" CONFERENCE

Students, youth groups, college ministry groups and others around the state and region are invited to attend the third annual "Generation Why?" youth apologetics conference March 4, 2023. The event will take place on the OBU campus in Shawnee from 9am to 5pm. The conference centers around the theme of "Truth" and is a one - day only conference. The conference is designed to equip students to know their faith more deeply and to be prepared and effective in defending their faith. Numerous breakout sessions will take place in the morning and afternoon.  Cost is $10 per student. Students must eat breakfast before the event and bring money for lunch and dinner. The church will provide transportation. Students need to be on Community Church campus at 7:45am and will return to campus between 6:30-7pm.  More details can be found HERE.


WINTER JAM CONCERT

Winter Jam is an incredible evening of live concerts by the top artists in Christian music, plus worship and ministry, to encourage believers and share the good news with those who have yet to trust Christ.

When NewSong began Winter Jam, it was based on the idea of removing cost barriers, so more people could attend, be encouraged by the music, and hear the gospel. Cost is $15/ticket at the door. Because it's first come first serve, groups often arrive hours before the concert to stand in line and hang out with their friends. Our group will leave Community Church campus at 12pm for pizza and return to campus between 11pm - midnight. Students need to bring $15 for their ticket, plus $10-$15 if they want to buy food at the concert. Band march will also be available to purchase. Please RSVP so we know how many students we need transportation for. Seats are limited to this event is first come, first serve. When you submit this form you'll be automatically notified by the form whether you've successfully RSVP'd or whether we've already reached a student cap for this event.

SUMMIT CAMP 2023

Monday - Saturday, July 10 - 15, 2023

Grades 7-12 are attending Summit Camp in Disney, OK. More details to come. Registration will opens May 1.
